Compex SAS2224 is a 24-port 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet Switch specially designed with PowerButtons for easy configuration of all advanced settings such as Virtual LAN (VLAN) and Port Priority. These PowerButtons are easily accessible on the front panel. It is an ideal workgroup or departmental switch for all types of networks. Its auto-negotiation, non-blocking switching architecture allows the data to be transferred at wire speed. It has an expansion slot for the optional 100Base FX fiber optical module to connect to your remote application servers of up to 2km apart. SAS2224 supports port-based VLAN that segments your network into its individual broadcast domain, improving your network performance by reducing broadcast traffic in your network. Port-based Priority Queuing enables certain ports to assigned higher priority than the others to support bandwidth sensitive applications such as video conferencing, VOIP. SAS2224 not only supports N-Way auto negotiation but also Force Mode, which allows users to manually set the transmission speed and duplex mode between two nodes. SAS2224 maintains its simplicity and convenience with PowerButtons. Unlike other switches that require a computer to configure switch configurations, SAS2224 allows you to configure the switch at the touch of the PowerButtons. SAS2224 comes with an expansion slot supporting the 100 Base FX optional module.
