Allied Telesyn International's Fast Ethernet Transceivers provide a simple network connection between a standard forty pin Media Independent Interface (MII) and any standard Fast Ethernet cable. Primary use of these transceivers is in providing additional media options to Fast Ethernet hubs, switches, bridges and routers equipped with a standard MII. Adhering strictly to IEEE 802.3u Fast Ethernet standards and constructed using the highest quality materials, these inexpensive 100BaseFX transceivers provide secure, reliable and convenient network connections.Common to all Allied Telesyn Fast Ethernet Transceivers is a compact steel chassis designed for secure, error free connection with an MII. Built-in thumbscrews and the transceiver's compact size provide for direct and reliable attachment to the MII. Transceiver power is provided through the MII interface and eliminates the need for an additional power supply. Status LEDs on all transceivers make it easy for LAN administrators to quickly identify and resolve network problems. All transceivers carry certification from the major worldwide regulatory and safety organizations including FCC, UL, TUV and CE.
