The MIL-130A converts without adding repeater count to the network. The unit does not re-time data, nor do it reduce the number of repeaters allowed on the network. This product is fully IEEE 802.3 compliant. The MIL-130A is ideal for connecting older 10BASE5 networks to 10BASE links, or for allowing the network administrator flexibility in choosing what media needs to be connected to 10BASE-T. This device is ideally suited for connecting small 10BASE2 segments to 10BASE-T runs.
