The AT-MX500FSM transceivers provide IEEE 802.3u Fast Ethernet connections between multi mode fiber optic network cable and an MII. Using either fiber SC or fiber ST (bayonet type) connectors, these transceivers connect devices up to 412 meters apart. The AT-MX500FSM transceivers support 100Mb/s network speeds and operate in both half and Full-Duplex modes. When Fast Ethernet hubs and switches must be connected over long distances not supported by UTP, these fiber optic transceivers provide the ideal solution.
