This universal media converter provides connection between unshielded twisted pair media and a female Attachment Unit Interface (AUI) with slide latch. Any Ethernet transceiver with a standard male AUI interface can thus be connected and locked to this converter through the AUI interface to provide media conversion between unshielded twisted pair and the other media of the transceiver.
