The Compex iWavePort WL54G, 54Mbps Wireless Cardbus card, is an ideal solution for mobile wireless users. It is small in size, light in weight and low in power consumption. It has a maximum coverage of up to 400m in an outdoor environment. In a pure G wireless environment, the iWavePort WL54G is able to enhance its data transfer up to five times that of 802.11b hardware. The WL54G is backwards compatible with existing 802.11b equipment. With the support of 64-bit or 128-bit WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy), security for wireless LAN communications is provided. Using the configuration utility provides an easy platform for users to configure their wireless networks.
