Compex's NetPassage 26G-USB is an 802.11g wireless broadband router which stands separately from other products in the market due to its advancement in convenience and usefulness. What pushes Compex's NP26G-USB beyond other products is it new USB port feature. Compex has created more solution options by adding two USB ports which are designed to support a printer, PC camera, or tracker pod. A multitude of uses for this feature come into play as this allows the user to have NP26G-USB as a wireless print server or even the industry's first 802.11g wireless web cam server. The web cam and tracker pod can be remotely accessed and easily controlled through a browser, allowing for variety of solutions such as surveillance of office or home. What is so attractive about the NP26G-USB is the features do not end with its Compex unique USB port capability. The NP26G-USB features Nitro Technology, which increases speed, in a pure 802.11g Nitro supported environment, by 50 percent and by 300 percent in a mixed b and g environment. A taste of other included features are Wireless Distribution System (WDS), Optional SPI Firewall, Wireless Pseudo VLAN, URL Filtering and Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP).
