It is designed for Plug and Play connection of Freecom Traveller and Portable drives to notebooks, PCs and (i)Macs. Switching your Freecom Cable between different Freecom Traveller and portable drives is possible. To change the connection simply attach a different Freecom Cable. Freecom Cable II features integrated Freecom controller chip for maximum performance.
