The e.SATA (External Serial ATA) Value kit combines two of HighPoint's popular e.SATA products, the RocketMate 1000/1100 external disk enclosure, and the B11 e.SATA bracket, into a complete external storage solution. The e.SATA Value kit adds e.SATA support to any computer system that utilizes SATA controllers. The e.SATA Value kit is capable of transferring data at speeds of up to 1.5 Gb/s - three times faster than standard USB 2.0 or IEE1394 external solutions! The e.SATA value kit can also be utilized as an external backup device. It is capable of supporting Hot-Swap, when used with the Rocket or RocketRAID SATA host adapters.
