Ultima Pro is your one card solution for adding or upgrading EIDE and I/O devices. Add or upgrade to new or faster peripherals. Advanced features such as a 32-bit disk transfers or multi-sector transfers to achieve a 3.2 MB/sec throughput, makes the EIDE Ultima Pro the fastest EIDE controller in the market today. Connect your high-speed fax/modem, and other serial devices to the 16550 high speed serial ports for maximum performance. Enhanced parallel port (IEEE 1284/ECP/EPP) allows for attaching new and faster external devices such as ZIP drives, scanners, video conferenceing cameras, high speed printers, CD-ROM drives and many more external parallel port devices. Selectable high IRQ's and address settings allow you to add and configure more peripherals in your system and prevents device conflicts for a worry free installation. Ultima Pro with TurboBoost BIOS was designed to provide LBA (Logical Block Addressing) support for IDE drives with capacities greater than 528MB. TurboBoost will automatically recognize and configure your new drives, and enhance the performance of existing IDE drives eliminating cumbersome utility program drivers needed to support EIDE and Fast ATA drives.
