SMARTCACHE IV PM2144W features and upgradable half-slot design, on-board processor for reduced SCSI and CPU overhead and connectors for both Wide and 8-bit devices allow you to easily attach and run both types of devices simultaneously. SmartPower feature reduces energy consumption during extended idle periods. Hardware cache and RAID upgradable via single, optional add-on module. Module supports up to 64MB of hardware cache and RAID levels 0, 1 and 5. Optional error correcting memory and data path protection. ASPI protocol support for universal connectivity with third-party applications. This adapter includes Storage Manager software for easy installation, RAID setup & maintenance, advanced storage diagnostics and performance tuning.
